Craig has already proven his incredible stamp on all his offspring, they are consistently athletic with added quality and versatility.
He refines heavier mares, be it more traditional warmbloods, like the hanoverian dressage mares, modernising type and giving greater length of leg with added reach in front. Also, crossing well to draught types, resulting in lighter framed, athletic offspring with a huge gallop and added expressive movement proving very useful for eventing and the stamp for a lightweight hunter.
The beauty of this boy is that he crosses well to such a range of mares, even to the pure TB he has proven to add a touch of bone, with the smaller mares, height, all with quality and bigger movement, resulting again in a fantastic event stamp but also, with the extra presence and wow factor for the show ring as either a hack or riding horse..
He has calmed even the hottest, quirkiest mare and instilled his relaxed and eager to please temperament. Often we have been presented with truly talented mares that are too awkward to perform consistently, in such cases the offspring have been level headed, trainable and with surmountable talent.
we have crossed him to numerous pony mares and the outcome has been better than could have been imagined, true juniors potentials, small horses with incredible ability yet the mindset of Craig, calm, safe and rideable. any mothers dream!
He really is a dual purpose sire with great versatility, from breeding lightweight hunters to hacks for the show ring, potential top end eventers, or safe but talented young riders first horses, lighter framed dressage horses with greater reach and more trainable nature or a once in a lifetime best friend.
thats the beauty of it, his offspring are such triers that they are suitable for the amateur and professional alike. They will happily go as far as their rider will take them...
as my little ones would say Mouse is the giant labrador of the family!
